Smartphone War (The Next Pixel vs The Next iPhone)

Hi everyone, First before we go any further i would like to explain few things about these types of posts..as  the title says...we challenge one smartphone with the other one, but  we do the war part  before they get released  so we could have our best guess about which one will beat the other one, we will also look at the following things before we draw the winner

- Specs

- Design

-The Hype

    Specs

We start with the iPhone 8, Now the rumors tell us that the next iPhone will be full glass design as we all know we expect some port less device  and how will you charge it? Wireless? how do you charge  a wireless device? its either a plastic cover or a glass back and honestly a big company like Apple isn't likely to use cheap material on its "Design" which brings us to Glass material as its design or we could also be getting the touch id somewhere else, like on the power button or at the back of the phone (which looks pixel as much as i could tell)

So here's a rumored specs

5.8in 2.5D OLED edge-to-edge display - New design with an 'all-glass' construction - 71x143x7.4mm - Wireless charging support - Apple A11 chip - Rear-facing Touch ID sensor - iOS 11 with improved Siri, P2P payments - Face-scanning technology - Vertical dual cameras on rear - Support for LTE speeds up to 450Mbps

-5.8in 2.5D OLED edge-to-edge display
- 71x143x7.4 mm
- Wireless charging support
- Apple A11 chip (or maybe another crazy name)
- Rear-facing Touch ID sensor
- Face-scanning technology

-iOS 11 with improved Siri, P2P payments
- Vertical dual cameras on rear
- Support for LTE speeds up to 450Mbps

According to those specs above, my views aren't positive or maybe its just me' id dont know.. i feel the ones that are going to be more exited about those specs are iPhone lovers but if we say  these specs will steal someone that uses samsung as daily  device  that will be bad thing to say,  because hey.. they are used to all these right? but e im glad apple kind of heard from people and decided to come up with some additional specs , far from their crazy stuff about naming things exclusively (like the A11 chip).

Lets talk about The Pixel 2  (or any name they will come up with) Last year Google ditched its Nexus brand for the Pixel. Since then Rick Osterloh — Google's hardware chief — has confirmed that a Pixel follow-up is coming this year. Osterloh didn't specify when, exactly, but the original Pixel was announced in October. If Google follows a yearly phone release schedule, we could see the next Pixel phones this fall -- and possibly give them a squeeze..Rick Osterloh, senior vice president of hardware at Google, has already stated publicly that the Google Pixel 2 will be a premium handset in 2017,

Rumored specs

5.99-  inches Display

Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 or 840

6GB of RAM memory

32GB and for the premium choice 128GB of memory

USB Type-C

3,500 mAh

 Design

The biggest design lead we have so far comes from a render pulled together by Android Police that shows what the Pixel XL 2 might look like. It very much looks like an evolution of the previous Pixel, but in this XL form said is to be made by LG, shrinking that glass panel on the rear so the fingerprint scanner sits in the metal back. The big change here is a shift in aspect to 18:9 on that display, which we'll talk about below, but resulting in shrinking the bezels top and bottom of the display. Strangely, XDA states that the XL 2 will have a squeezable frame, much like the HTC U11. And while that seems somewhat at odds with the fact this sized model will supposedly be made by LG rather than HTC, suggested uses include squeezing the phone as a shortcut to Google Assistant. The fundamental failing of the 2016 Pixel is the lack of waterproofing: with many competitors offering protection, for the price that Google is asking the Pixel 2 needs to step up with a solid IP rating. That's something that HTC also added to the U11, so as a potential build partner, they now appear to have all the skills. Waterproofing was apparently something that was attempted for the Pixel, but eventually dropped, but thats's an unconfirmed rumor

Now those are random mock ups that i just found around the web so we could be wrong or right but honestly i am super hyped for the Orange design  in terms of colors but the design in general i'd go for the sthird one though it feels like a samsung to me., again i don't think we will get everything like what we see here  but im pretty sure there are some little designs that will be similar to these ones.

Apple iPhone 8’s design is a much talked about feature in the rumors and leaks we’ve seen so far. Now according to a report in Forbes, we’ve gotten a close look at what the actual iPhone 8 might look like, and this one will be unlike any other iPhone that has launched in the past. Forbes’ Gordon Kelly worked with iPhone case designer firm Nodus, and they have visualised the final iPhone 8 design .This based on CAD files from the supply chain, says the report and Nodus is currently working on case designs for iPhone 8. The leak comes even as Apple has talked about how it is trying to crack down on leaks. Most importantly, Apple is following Samsung's lead by dramatically enlarging the screen so that it takes up almost the entire front of the phone. The famous Home button will be replaced either with a virtual one built into the screen, or another physical button on the side of the phone. Like the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, this could be made to incorporate a Touch ID scanner. Thickness is not shown, but there's a nearly edge-to-edge display that measures 5.767 inches on the diagonal. A 4mm bezel is pictured around the display, with half of that being the 2.5D curved glass at the edges. All of this is in line with rumors suggesting an iPhone 7-sized device with an iPhone 7 Plus-sized display.

here are expected designs of the next iPhone

These are some rumored  design that i could get from the web so far... dont get me wrong there are so much rendered samples  but i have a feeling these are the closest i could pick  if there are some others exist thats a whole new story,  Now we talk about what we see here, this design is much more interested to me  because not only it is new and but that Samsung way of infinity display got me shaking' i mean seriously edge to edge display on an iPhone? its just so much fascinating, To clear all i'd like to say the iPhone is getting alot of attention all over than the Pixels and it isn't something bad because we all know google just started pushing their devices last year  so it will take a long time for the market to expand, but still it is a taff battle between these two devices (i know we have the Galaxy  Note 8 on the way but yeah..)

The Hype

Personally i am so hyped by the coming of Pixels or whatever name , But the the hype here is much more from Apple world , people are so much waiting for the next iPhone and i think people define the next look of the Next iPhone from the Samsung device and i think  this is why this year it goes beyond, when we look at the Galaxy S8 we could guess how much Apple is going to want to outshine the design of the S8 (which is not that true)  so we will see some things that we have already seen from other manufactures like the LG G6,Galaxy S8, Huawei and others

   Who is the winner here?

Well... in this case you can decide who is the winner, but i'd go for the Google Next device,  not that i love android (which i really do) but its just not on that point  what we see on these mock ups we have already seen them on some devices since last year

Feel free to comment your views about these two Devices down below

cheers.
